Love and shot of Gatorade

I got a job. I have a job. I am in the city. And all it took was a day for spunky, chatty farm girl to become a second-rate, ghetto Amanda Priestly. All polished to claw, hustle and flow. Yes. I am a Marketing Manager. Yes, first week of work. And working it like its hot.

Boss wanted momentum. Boss scared of Marketing managers that loose momentum. Boss thinks me eccentric. Not weird. Not crazy. Eccentric.

Me knows work will be fun. Work will be exciting. Work will be challenging. Work will be learning. Work will not be work because me loves it.
Need to write again. Here. Anywhere. On the walls. On my pants. No thrift stores. No craft stores. Me is missing a little shack in NoHo. Me missing fighting cocks and Sunday cockfights. Me missing California sunshine and bus rides in an empty bus. Me missing rough and bumpy roads. Me missing 24-hours grocery stores. Me missing loud and buzzling mercados. Me missing miso soup with mushrooms and yakitori with ice cold Asahi. Me missing culled chicken halang-halang with Tanduay on the rocks. Me missing writing songs. Me missing planting seeds.

Me is Bipolar?

Me prays. Me works hard now. Me wants to be a good person. Me wants to learn to balance elliptical surges of personality.

You miss happy smiles and ringing laughter. You miss summerdays. You miss winternights. You miss late night cruisings. You miss good movies with popcorn. You miss watching a good fight. You miss finding the perfect shirt. You miss the simple life. You miss coming home to a hug. You miss phonecalls every hour. You miss being broke and stuck at home. You miss 6-hours chismis. You miss You miss holding hands. You miss random I Love You's. You miss being the strong one. You miss road trips. You miss the jokes. You miss being the only one.

You pray. You work hard. You are the kindest person. You don't think of you. You know what LOVE means everytime you say it. You spend every moment showing it. You never loose patience. You never loose your mind. You don't think of you. You give all. All. In exchange for a smile and bellows of laughter. You give all just to make someone else happy.

Unconditional love. We strive to be worthy. But we find that the more of it we recieve, the more unworthy we feel. We get scared. We don't know what to do. It's too perfect. It's too wonderful. We loose momentum. We wanna get back on the train. But its gone. So we stay. We pray. We are human. Humbled by Love.

Momentum. Boss likes momentum. Boss is right.
